CAMPING Lake Meyer Park and Campground The electricity and water has been turned off at this campground for the season. Camping is available, at no charge, for those who wish to camp primitively or winter camp. Location: just off of Hwy 24 between and Calmar and Fort Atkinson # of sites: 27 electric, 8 non-electric Campground offers: dump station, flush toilets, showers, drinking water Fees: $10/night non-electric and $15/night electric; no reservations - first come, first served Also available: picnic shelter, hiking trails, lake fishing, boating (electric motors only), ball diamond, playground, nature center. |

Kendallville Park and Campground This campground is closed for the season. Campground Rules and Regulations No reservations accepted. Campsites are on a first come, first serve basis. Registration - Electric Site - $15, Non-electric - $10 /night/site 1. All vehicles and camping units (except tents) must remain on surfaced areas, unless permission is granted otherwise. No unlicensed vehicles are allowed in park. 2. One camping unit per campsite unless approved by host. Maximum number of campers per campsite - immediate family members (6) - non-family members (4). 3. Limit of 2 vehicles per campsite. All other vehicles must park in an area designated by the host. 4. Registration is required within one hour of occupying campsite. Register with camp host or by self registration. If for any reason you can't locate the camp host or self registration is not available, the camper should leave a note with name and campsite number in mail box on front porch rail at host cabin (Lake Meyer) or in the registration drop box (Kendallville). 5. All campsites must be registered to and occupied by an adult (18+). 6. Registration tags for tents and campers must be displayed on campsite post at all times 7. Park closes at 10:30 PM and reopens at 6:00 AM. All non-registered visitors must leave by 10:00 PM. 8. No large gatherings of unregistered campers in campground (picnics, reunions, parties, etc.) 9. Camp fires are permitted in fire rings only & 1 table per site. 10. All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. Out of courtesy to everyone, please clean up after your pet and refrain from cleaning your pet in the shower house. 11. For the safety of all guests, clotheslines must be taken down each evening. 12. Quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Report any disturbing behavior to the host, regardless of time. Disturbing parties will be asked to leave the park. 13. Please notify the host of any problems with the bathrooms and showers. 14. Small children must be supervised when using showers or bathrooms. No water balloons or water guns in or around restrooms. 15. No cleaning of fish, clothing, pots or pans, pets, etc. in the bathroom sinks, showers, or at water stations. 16. Please keep bathroom and shower doors closed. 17. All applicable state laws apply to alcohol in campground. 18. Please clean up your site when you leave and deposit all trash in receptacles or dumpster near bathrooms. Utilize recycling bins located near shower house. 19. Check-out time is 4:00 PM on Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. 20. No ATV's or fireworks of any kind are allowed to be used on Winneshiek County Park property. 21. There is a $10.00 fee that will be applied to all returned checks. We hope that by your respecting and abiding by these rules and having consideration for other campers, that all campers can have a pleasant and enjoyable camping experience at the Winneshiek County Conservation Board campgrounds!
