Thank you for visiting the site for news and information about Iowa's Winneshiek County Conservation Board. Winneshiek County has over 20 public areas that are available for your use.  Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, camping, picnicking, bird watching or any other form of outdoor recreation - please enjoy your time outdoors by visiting one of your county parks!

Our Location: Lake Meyer Park, 2546 Lake Meyer Road, Fort Atkinson, Iowa (just off of Hwy 24 between Calmar and Fort Atkinson)

Our Mission: The purpose of the Winneshiek County Conservation Board is to provide the public with wide-ranging opportunities for quality outdoor recreation while wisely managing our natural resources and encouraging land stewardship through natural history and environmental education programming.

NOTICE:  The Kendallville Campground has been re-opened after flooding, however there is no water available (see camping page).

NOTICE:  The Lake Meyer Campground is open.  Hwy 24 from Calmar to Lake Meyer is open, but there is a detour on Hwy 24 from Fort Atkinson.
