WINNESHIEK COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING SERVICE
Winneshiek County Public Health is a Medicare/Medicaid certified home health agency. Our staff is dedicated to preserving and maintaining the health of our community by offering health education programming and health promotion clinics, such as immunizations and blood pressures. Our agency monitors the health status of our community through disease surveillance, investigation and follow-up. We work with Environmental Health to ensure that residents have safe water and clean sanitation. Our staff consists of registered nurses and home care aides who enable clients to remain in their own homes for as long as safely possible. Our nurses provide assistance with medication teaching and set-up, dressing changes, and infusion therapy, for example. The Home Care Aides offer personal cares.
